Holiday Itinerary

Enjoy all that Rochester and the surrounding area has to celebrate the holiday season this winter.
 

Day 1

  • Start the day at the George Eastman House to learn about the great inventor and admire the Sweet Creations Gingerbread display. George Eastman House is the world’s oldest photography museum and one of the oldest film archives.

  •  

  • Head to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park Spend the afternoon at Roc Holiday Village. Visit with Santa in his Workshop. Enjoy free ice skating & skate rentals at the ice rink. Do your holiday shopping in the Shopping Village.

  • Spend the evening at The Eastman Theatre with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Celebrate with Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik, your RPO and electrifying vocalist Shayna Steele, on stage for this Rochester Holiday tradition. Whether you drive to Kodak Hall or opt for a sleigh ride, you won’t want to miss this spectacular holiday concert, complete with a sing-a-long!

Day 2

  • Spend the morning at the Strong Museum of Play for a day full of fun. The Strong is the only museum in the world dedicated to all things play, and houses the largest collection of toys, dolls and games in the world. Enjoy the National Toy Hall of Fame and World Video Game Hall of Fame, along with the largest indoor Butterfly Garden in upstate NY. Fun for all ages.

  • Visit the food trucks at Roc Holiday Village for a tasty bite and & stay for toasty drinks & live holiday tunes in The Lodge Bar.

  • Enjoy dinner at one of the many fantastic restaurants downtown, such as Avvino

  • Visit Geva Theatre to enjoy their beautiful production of A Christmas Carol.
